There is no doubt that amongst my favourite subjects the beach or seaside stands out - so many possibilities, such as this shot taken in Cornwall after dinner - a pleasant walk on the beach to see the End of the Day







or a stop in Northumberland to look at some fine poppies just breaking the buds when the sea fret came down.     A sharp walk down to the beach gave this

I am a young in heart - if 79 - amateur photographer who has used countless different cameras and concluded that no matter what the camera and lens it is the eye that sees the picture and that the content is what matters.

The other point is that it does not matter what the conditions are like - be ready.    This was grabbed during lunch-hour from my office window
